Job Details
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- Lead mechanical engineering efforts for new product introductions (NPI) and sustaining products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, process, test, and reliability engineering.
- Ensure mechanical design meets performance, cost, and quality targets.
- Drive design improvements for manufacturability, yield, and cost reduction.
- Manage mechanical content for product builds and validation.
- Support failure analysis and root cause investigations.
- Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners to resolve issues and optimize production.
- Experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably in networking or electronics hardware.
- Knowledge of materials, thermal management, and structural analysis.
- Experience with DFM, DFA, and reliability testing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers to resolve mechanical issues during production.
- Review and approve mechanical tooling, fixtures, and process changes.

- PLM systems: Agile, Windchill
- Materials knowledge: Plastics, metals, composites
